Silvana designs and creates evening, gown and prom  dresses, also dance dresses and  crochet handbags and other accessories.

What stimulates her  and capture her interest is to manipulate  the material, which is a fabric or wire, pull out their  essence building unique pieces.

Some things that she realizes, mainly following the instinct, born of a strange blend of soul, dreams and fairy tales.

The inspiration to create often comes from stories that she read or listened in particular moments of her life. Stories from the world, from Africa, Arab, South American and Aborigine. Or stories contained in the cult book “Women who run with the wolves” which tells fables and myths through the archetype of the Wild Woman.

“In every woman there is a hidden being   natural  and wild, a powerful force, consisting of instincts, passionate creativity, and ancestral knowledge. The femininity that emerges from my creations, there is a hidden, concealed but an irrepressible, exuberant and disarming, an ‘affirmation of his being.

My woman is strong, independent, feminine, sensual, but also  sweet and delicate.

The selection and research of materials and patterns is very accurate, always looking for perfection and preciousness.”

The love of sewing began when fifteen years has made the first skirt. This passion has long been relegated to spare time. In fact, for many years, Silvana has worked as an employee for notarial studies. Then, a 30-year-old attended a course in designing clothing and of course a dress designer. Following this she worked for a few years, in the style office of Giorgio Grati (clothing and pret a porter) and for a knitwear firm from  Marche, but after some years she left everything to make a long journey during  three months in Australia in search of herself and the “way to go”. On her return definitely choose the fashion world. Today, alongside the creation of unique garments, teaching as a teacher expert in cutting and sewing. Also organizes creative sewing classes for children. The  greatest satisfaction is to see her little pupils create unique objects and customs. Silvana disegna e realizza abiti da sera, da cerimonia, abiti da ballo borse in crochet e altri accessori. Quello che la stimola ed interessa è manipolare il materiale, che sia un tessuto od un filo, tirarne fuori l'essenza costruendo pezzi unici . Alcune cose che realizza, principalmente seguendo l'istinto, nascono da uno strano connubio tra anima, sogno e fiabe. L'ispirazione per creare arriva spesso da storie che ha letto o che le sono state raccontate in particolari momenti. Storie dal mondo, di provenienza africana, araba, sudamericana e aborigena. Oppure storie contenute nel libro cult “Donne che corrono con i lupi” che racconta attraverso favole e miti l'archetipo della donna selvaggia. “In ogni donna si nasconde un essere naturale e selvaggio, una forza potente, formata da istinti, creatività passionale, e un sapere ancestrale. La femminilità che emerge dalle mie creazioni, non è nascosta, celata ma prorompente, esuberante e disarmante, un 'affermazione del proprio essere. La mia donna è forte, indipendente, femminile, sensuale, ma al contempo dolce e delicata. La scelta e la ricerca dei materiali e dei modelli è molto accurata, sempre alla ricerca della perfezione e della preziosità.”

 

L’amore per la sartoria è iniziato quando a quindici anni ha realizzato la prima gonna. Questa passione è stata per lungo tempo relegata ai ritagli di tempo. In realtà, per molti anni, Silvana ha lavorato come impiegata per gli studi notarili. Poi, a 30 anni ha frequentato un corso di modellista per abbigliamento e un corso di figurinista. A seguito di ciò ha collaborato per alcuni anni, nell'ufficio stile della Giorgio Grati (abbigliamento pret a porter) e per una ditta di maglieria marchigiana, ma dopo qualche anno lascia tutto per fare un viaggio lungo tre mesi in Australia alla ricerca di sé stessa e della strada da percorrere. Al suo ritorno sceglierà definitivamente la sartoria. Oggi, affianca alla creazione di capi unici, l'insegnamento come docente esperta di taglio e cucito. Inoltre organizza corsi di cucito creativo per bambini. La sua più grande soddisfazione è vedere le sue piccole allieve creare degli oggetti unici e personalizzati..
